Remember this…all work and no play makes for a dull life. After an exceptionally busy week with contracts, I chose to play and just be with my kids today. Here are my two youngest, enjoying a great time at the community park in Steveston Village.
Child Care Quality Enhancement Fund (BC) – $ go out in March
Today the BC Council for Families announced that funding for licensed child care providers all across BC will again be distributed through the Child Care Quality Enhancement Fund. The funds will be distributed in March 2009 and the 2009 funding breakdown is as follows:
The
funding that child care providers receive through the Child Care
Quality Enhancement Fund is calculated using parameters similar to
those in previous one-time only fundings received by CCOF-licenced
child care providers. The funding your child care centre receives is
based on the number of licenced child care spaces at your centre and
the type of care provided.
In 2009 the funding is allocated on the following basis:
Type of Care | Funding Amount |
Family | $105 per licensed space |
Pre-School | $120 per licensed space |
Out-of-School | $120 per licensed space |
Under 36 Months | $135 per licensed space |
30 Months to School Age | $135 per licensed space |
Emergency | $135 per licensed space |
Special Needs | $135 per licensed space |
Group Multi-Age | $135 per licensed space |
