Grade 9 students across Canada to participate in The Learning Partnership’s Take Your Kids to Work(TM) program
TORONTO, Nov. 6 /CNW/ - << WHAT: On Wednesday, November 7, thousands of Grade 9 students from across the country will join a parent, relative or volunteer host for the opportunity to experience a day at work by participating in The Learning Partnership's Take Our Kids to Work(TM) program. Now in its 13th year, Take Our Kids to Work focuses on the importance of education, skills development and training while giving students the opportunity to experience the world of work and see first hand the variety of career opportunities that will be available to them. Since 1994, more than 1.5 million young Canadians and tens of thousands of workplaces have participated in the program. WHO: Thousands of Grade 9 students across Canada and thousands of workplaces across Canada from all sectors, including corporate, technology, healthcare, government and non-profit.
