I heard the man (of course now I can’t recall his name – or find it on CBC.ca) who started this website interviewed on CBC this morning and thought it was kind of interesting.  It is run by a local non profit society who wanted to create an avenue for people in the UK to channel complaints regarding their neighbourhood to the local city councils.  The concern was that many people felt their phone calls were not being taken seriously.  The feeling now is that there is more local accountability and that problems are more quickly resolved.
